Came to “The Place” because of the 5 star rating and enjoyed it! Starter: Grilled Octopus Main Course: Cod Fillet with Smoked Beetroot & Walnut Risotto Desert: Polish Cheese Cake Coffee: Double Espresso My favorite was the Cod Fillet not just looking great but also well fried on “spot”, the Tartare look is a real eye catcher! Great, friendly service, nice atmosphere.

The breakfast was delicious had great flavour, the pork belly is a fantastic touch that was the best black pudding we have ever had. All the portions were perfect. Surpassed all expectations. Recently, went here due to the high praise and tbh was not a let down. The food in general was great, flavourful and good portions. Especially, the starters which were calamari rings and grilled octopus. The mains, the pasta wasn’t too creamy but unfortunately the lamb was over-seasoned and oily to our taste. Chicken was well-balanced and vey generous. Service was excellent as the manager kept our children well-entertained even blowing up balloons for them throughout whilst providing fast service. Also, she provided story books as well to keep them entertained while we were waiting for the food, thank you. Atmosphere- ambient lighting and spacious seating for prams.

We’ve had our family Christmas dinner here 2 years in a row now and has been the most amazing experience both times, absolutely phenomenal service, deliciously incredible food and super friendly and welcoming staff. Cannot recommend the place more! Would give 6 stars if it were possible.

Wow, what a find!! The best breakfast I’ve had in ages. As a former chef I could taste the quality of the food and the care taken to cook it. Breakfast tacos were off the scale good! If you are in Bournemouth and want great quality at a great place, look no further. I’m surprised it wasn’t full. Absolute gem!

Full english breakfast was really good. Wild mushrooms on toast with poached eggs and kale was massive portion, could hardly eat half of it, which was a bit of a waste. Other than that good location and good service.

Had breakfast at the restaurant today and it was ! The food was fresh, hot, and super tasty. Loved the eggs the way cook. Service was friendly and prompt too. Thank you, Dariush! Would totally come back for breakfast again!
